I personally don't like those modules. It is because to debug
modules using especially LUNA is hard to me, even though LUNA
is systematized and perfect program. Probably, it will be
applied to many ELips programmers. So, I welcome making it not
use them, personally. I wrote this, in order to urge many
counterarguments. :)

I admire your eager research. Unfortunately, I'm not acquainted
with PGG and S/MIME. I wish the original author of PGG were
here. Anyhow, I thought it desirable to interchange between
FLIM/SEMI and Gnus communities ever since we were developing
Semi-gnus.

By the way, I am still maintaining T-gnus (based on No Gnus)
which is a successor to Semi-gnus. Since it is easy to use
switching Gnus and T-gnus, you can develop gpgsm using them. :)

;; Sorry for my late response. Although I am enjoying to write
;; in English, it takes time. :)
