No problem, we'd be happy to do whatever you think will cause less
confusion. But ideally I'd like for the Gnus files and FLIM/SEMI
files to be the same, so there shouldn't be any confusion. I'll be
sending the patches we make to the files, to try and get them accepted
in FLIM/SEMI, and I track FLIM/SEMI CVS as well, to incorporate any
modifications you make (if they have copyright assignments). Do you
think it is impossible to keep the files synchronized? If so I'll do
s/sasl/gnus-sasl/g and s/md4/gnus-md4/g, and replace the use of hmac-*
with rfc2104.el. I do feel this is an unfortunate solution though --
it will make it harder for me to incorporate improvements you make,
and perhaps also make it more unlikely that patches applied to the
Gnus versions end up in FLIM/SEMI.
Thanks for the response.
