Yes, that's nothing but correct.  I'm sorry for my misunderstanding
that I've been confused the compile-time evaluation and the inlining
for years.  There might be still similar problems in APEL and we
should fix them as much as possible hereafter.  I'll feedback a
result of our improvements to the XEmacs community in the future.
